Ecommerce Product Coordinator (Seasonal)

The Ecommerce Product Coordinator is a seasonal role and reports to the Ecommerce Marketing Manager. Key support includes primary oversight over the seasonal product listings and collection catalog organization. Additional seasonal responsibilities may include online fulfillment support and customer service.

Job Responsibilities

WEBSITE INVENTORY MAINTENANCE

  • Creates the online product catalog and ensures proper mapping links between inventory management system and Shopify. This includes maintaining data integrity, error, invalid orders and SKU management.
  • Creates and maintains product listings with attention to Search Engine Optimization, product descriptions and organization, merchandising within collections, and publishing, while maintaining the brand voice
  • Works alongside Ecommerce Marketing Manager to create, maintain, and merchandise seasonal and specialty collections to support marketing campaigns

Once the holiday product catalog is completed, additional responsibilities may include:

  • Supports customer service inquiries and directs customer inquiries to the proper channels within the business
  • Support online fulfillment team in product pulls, gift wrapping and packing.
  • Supports receiving and online team in inventory pulls as directed by buying team.
  • Supports ECommerce and Marketing team in content creation and holiday photoshoots.

QUALIFICATIONS + EXPECTATIONS :

  • Experience in ecommerce, retail, inventory management and/or Shopify a plus
  • Excellent copywriting skills 
  • Detail-oriented, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Uphold completion of designated tasks as needed by ecommerce marketing manager
  • Ability to respond effectively and appropriately to feedback
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Thrives in a team-centric environment
  • Positive communication with teammates in a high-stress environment
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to jump in where needed

  • Must be available during the holiday season of October-December, with limited time off during that period

COMPENSATION + PERKS:

  • Seasonal, August - January 2026
  • 30 hours per week, varying as needed seasonally
  • Part-time, hourly position (Monday-Friday)

Merchandising Assistant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Visual Merchandising

  • Maintain an organized and appealing sales floor by replenishing stock, styling displays, and executing regular product rotations
  • Create visually compelling product presentations that highlight key items and spark customer interest
  • Use cross-merchandising to create engaging stories and inspire unique pairings
  • Elevate product displays by incorporating signage, props, and visual elements that reflect and reinforce our store’s brand identity
  • Contribute to the execution of seasonal merchandising plans in alignment with the events and marketing calendar
  • Communicate with the sales team about backstock, display features, and any special considerations
  • Maintain efficient workflow by communicating effectively with the Merchandising team using shared tools—such as the receiving room whiteboard—to track completed projects, works in progress, and upcoming tasks

Backstock & Inventory Flow

  • Support a smooth transition of goods from the receiving room to the sales floor
  • Maintain an organized downstairs backstock area for easy access and restocking
  • Monitor product performance on the sales floor and alert MM to fast-moving or low-inventory items
  • Work with the Receiving Manager (RM) and MM to ensure timely turnaround of incoming reorders

Merchandising Support

  • Communicate with MM about fixture and display accessory needs, including ordering, organization, and storage
  • Keep merchandising tools (risers, shelving, hangers, hooks) and spaces (break and storage rooms) tidy and functional on a regular basis
  • Monitor tester levels and signage needs, reporting updates to the MM

QUALIFICATIONS + EXPECTATIONS :

  • Some retail, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a sharp sense for design/layout, flow, and visual appeal
  • Thrives in a collaborative team-centric setting and brings the same energy and focus to independent work
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including being on your feet for long periods, regularly carrying and moving fixtures and merchandise throughout the store
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to respond thoughtfully to feedback, especially in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
  • Collaborative approach and willingness to jump in and support cross-functional teams where needed
  • Demonstrates a thoughtful commitment to upholding the Heyday brand and core values—friendliness, approachability, punctuality, curiosity, and strong teamwork.
  • Brings a positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for helping create a warm, welcoming experience in a store that values community, creativity, and care
  • Must be available during the holiday season of October-Early January, with limited time off during that period
