From an early age, Anna had the desire to use paint as a medium to express her passion for the landscapes around her. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado and spending time in Maine, South Carolina, and Southern California, these incredibly varied but special landscapes influenced and deepened her love of light, color, and texture. After an early study of printmaking and a subsequent career in graphic design, she eventually moved beyond the confines of hard lines and digital perspectives to explore the luscious world of paint, finally bringing her passion for landscapes to canvas.

For the past 15 years, Anna has lived in Bozeman, Montana, with her husband, where they are raising two daughters and a growing number of animals. It may have been the incredible vistas of Montana that finally inspired the voice in her head to call out, "You must paint that!"—and now she does, happily. See her work here.

Join us on March 1st to shop Anna’s beautiful prints, cards, puzzles, scarves, and small originals. Don’t miss the chance to find something special!

Alé founded Hyalite Candles in 2019, and after launching at the farmers market in 2020, she was met with overwhelming support from the Bozeman community—something she found truly inspiring. This encouragement fueled her expansion into Hyalite & Co., allowing her to craft a wider range of products, including perfumes, body oils, lotions, and more. Her creations are deeply influenced by local treasures, the changing seasons, and the distinct vibes of the beautiful surroundings she calls home.

At Hyalite & Co., Alé prioritizes vegan and organic ingredients, crafting each product to bring warmth, elegance, and a touch of Montana into everyday life.

Meet the maker behind the magic on March 8th! We carry Alé’s candles and fragrances year-round, but she’ll be in-store to chat all things scent, answer questions, and share perfume samples.

Kelly grew up in the mountains, in a tiny valley just half a mile from Yellowstone National Park. After graduating from Western Oregon University, she returned home to Montana, where she found renewed inspiration in the landscapes she had always loved. Her passion for art deepened as she saw her mountain home with fresh eyes. Kelly spent three years as the director of the Cooke City Montana Museum before moving to Bozeman, where she worked as the curator of the Gallatin History Museum for five years. In the summer of 2023, she transitioned to working as a full-time artist.

Kelly founded her art business in 2013, originally naming it Studio 308 in honor of her BFA studio in college. In 2024, she rebranded as Wild Joy Creative to better reflect her work and the sense of wonder she experiences when creating in the midst of the natural world.

Mark your calendar for March 22nd! Kelly will be bringing earrings, embroidery kits, clothing, and bandanas. Shop her fun, nature-inspired creations and find your next favorite piece!

Caldera Cacao Roasters

Lauren and Logan’s love for chocolate-making was inspired by their time in Latin America—traveling and living in Ecuador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Mexico City. After returning home to Bozeman in 2023, they wanted to stay connected with the people and places that had left such a lasting impression, and chocolate became the perfect way to do that.

They started with a 10-pound bag of cacao beans from Ecuador, which soon led to investing in a stone grinder, making chocolate at home, and taking courses from the Ecole Chocolat Professional School of Chocolate Arts. What began as doorstep drop-offs for friends and family quickly grew into working out of a commercial kitchen space. This past December, they won a Silver award from the Academy of Chocolate in London for their single-origin Peru 70% dark chocolate—sharing the silver category with makers from six continents and proving that you can craft world-class chocolate in a Bozeman warehouse!

Caldera focuses on two-ingredient dark chocolate, using ethically traded cacao to highlight the unique flavors of each origin. Lauren and Logan are passionate about celebrating and supporting the communities that grow cacao, creating chocolate that tells a story—one rooted in adventure, creativity, and sustainability. This month, they’ll be traveling back to Guatemala for the first time since launching Caldera Cacao Roasters to visit and learn from cacao farmers at the peak of the annual harvest.

Come taste and explore on March 29th! Lauren & Logan will be here sampling and selling their award-winning chocolate—stop by to hear about their travels, chat all things cacao, and enjoy some seriously good chocolate!
