Reading
Nothing says summer like getting lost in a good book, and our team has some real page-turners packed in their beach bags and picnic totes right now.
Lori B just finished Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry, an author we can’t get enough of around here. Lori couldn’t put it down and called it "the perfect summer read." You’ll find a few of Henry’s hits tucked into our little staff library.
Holly recently wrapped up The Boxcar Librarian by Brianna Labuskes, a novel inspired by true events in 1930s Montana. Set in a small town filled with secrets, corruption, and mystery, it’s a gripping local pick for anyone who loves a historical thriller.
Lisa is diving into Never Lie by Freida McFadden, a Mother’s Day gift from her kids. She’s a big fan of McFadden’s thrillers and can’t wait to crack this one open. If you love twists and suspense, this one’s for you.
Eating
Summer cravings are hitting hard, and our team’s leaning into fresh produce, easy lunches, and no-cook dinner solutions from some of our favorite local spots.
Jennieven is loving trips to Rocky Creek Farm, where the seasonal produce stand is tucked into a charming blue barn. Between the fresh veggies, herbs, flowers, and local goods, it’s the ultimate way to eat with the seasons.
Michelle is all about Spitz, the new Mediterranean spot in downtown Bozeman. Their wraps and bowls are flavorful, filling, and perfect for those hot nights when cooking is just not in the cards.

Emma has the new Miley album on repeat. With a blend of pop, disco, and R&B, plus those signature powerhouse vocals, it’s a fun, feel-good soundtrack she keeps coming back to.
Tessa is hooked on Normal Gossip, a podcast that dishes up anonymous stories about “friends of friends.” It’s hilarious, juicy (in a harmless way), and a welcome break from her usual news or true crime queue.
Linds is getting her game on at Back Nine, a new golf simulator spot near The Market. It’s quickly become a favorite date night activity—fun, low-pressure, and great for all skill levels.
