Reading
This fall, our team is curled up with some truly captivating reads. Here are the books keeping us hooked as the days get shorter and the nights get cozier:
Linds is cozying up with The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins. You might have seen this advice floating around social media, but diving into the full book feels like the perfect fall reset. It’s all about slowing down, letting go of control, and giving yourself permission to just be—a great reminder as the season shifts.
Brig is deep into The Silent Patient. If you’re looking for a page-turner that will keep you guessing, this one is it. Dark, twisty, and full of suspense, it’s the perfect thriller to curl up with on a chilly evening. Just don’t be surprised if you stay up way too late trying to finish “one more chapter.”
Holly dove into Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Even though sci-fi isn’t usually her genre, she was completely hooked. Normally a tried-and-true paper book reader, she made an exception for the audiobook—and now swears it’s the best way to experience the story. The narration brings the characters and plot to life in such a fun way that it’s easy to get swept into another world.
Eating
This season, our team is savoring the flavors of fall in every form. From garden-fresh comfort food to flavorful pantry upgrades and local game-day bites, here’s what we’re cooking up (and craving) as the temperatures drop:
Andrea is putting her garden haul to delicious use with her famous tomato pie. While tomatoes might feel like a summer staple, Bozeman’s late growing season means the best ones show up right as the air turns crisp. Between canning sauces, salsa, and mixes, Andrea saves the ripest, juiciest tomatoes for this cozy, savory pie that screams comfort food.
Michelle is spicing things up with Molly Baz’s new Ayoh! Mayo. She insists it’s a total game-changer. The fun, flavorful line-up adds instant zing to just about anything you cook. Sure, it makes for an unbeatable sandwich spread, but Michelle recommends branching out — think drizzled on roasted veggies, dolloped onto grain bowls, or just about anything else!
Traci is leaning into fall game-day eats with a local favorite: Cholms Burger. Known for juicy, flavor-packed burgers, and run by one of the friendliest owners in town, this food truck is always a win. It’s the perfect splurge when you want to treat yourself and support a Bozeman gem.

Playing
Our team is having a blast this fall with everything from friendly competitions to music on repeat and podcasts that keep us entertained during cozy nights in. Here’s what we’re playing right now:
The Heyday crew is deep into our annual NFL Pick ’Ems league! It’s a little less complicated than fantasy football, but just as competitive—trust us, the bragging rights are real. We’re now in our third year of this tradition, and while the leaderboard changes weekly, it’s anyone’s guess who will come out on top this season.
Lisa and her daughter Mylie (both Heyday rockstars!) have Megan Moroney on repeat. They’re even heading to Portland this weekend to see her live! Proof that country music isn’t just for summer festivals, it’s the perfect soundtrack for crisp autumn days too.
Amy is leaning all the way into spooky season with her latest podcast obsession: Scared to Death. Hosted by husband-and-wife duo Dan and Lynze Cummins, it’s packed with paranormal stories, creepy legends, and eerie listener submissions. It’s equal parts spine-tingling and addictive, the perfect listen if you’re ready to sleep with the lights on.
Obsessing Over
We’re fully leaning into fall trends and little joys that make the season extra fun. Here’s what we can’t stop talking about right now:
Tessa is swooning over Baggu’s newest leather shade: Mahogany. This rich, deep red feels like the it color of fall—sophisticated, versatile, and the perfect pop against your cozy neutrals. Consider this your sign to come see it in store before it’s gone.
Linds is all about Intrigue Ink’s latest fall design, “Salty.” It’s got that signature blend of cute and sassy that Intrigue nails every time. Honestly, we don’t know how they keep topping themselves, but we’re here for it.
And collectively? A lot of us at Heyday are glued to Dancing with the Stars, and season 34 is delivering! Tuesday nights mean watching, and Wednesday mornings mean team debriefs on who nailed it and who… didn’t. Current favorites are Dylan Efron (obviously), Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, and Elaine Hendrix, but honestly, it changes every week. If you’re not already hooked, give it one episode and we promise you will be.

Recommending
Our team has some can’t-miss recommendations this fall—everything from healthy resets to cozy home upgrades and the drinks we’re sipping on repeat. Here’s what we’re loving (and think you will too):
Dena is raving about NourishMint’s signature juice detox, created by her friend Emily. A group of six of us tried it together, and it was the perfect post-summer indulgence reset. We all came out feeling refreshed, energized, and ready to stay healthy heading into the holiday season.
Justine is once again singing the praises of Geometry’s dish towels, because they really are that good. Super absorbent, endlessly useful, and now featuring adorable new fall designs, they’re the easiest seasonal touch to add to your kitchen. Consider this your sign to finally grab one (or three).
Britney has officially found her fall drink: a pumpkin chai. She’s been making her daily autumn walk over to Rockford and Zocalo for her fix and highly recommends both spots. Next on her list? Trying all the other pumpkin chai offerings around town until she declares a winner.
Treating Ourselves
As the holiday season creeps closer, we’re making sure to carve out little moments of self-care and indulgence. Here’s how our team is treating themselves this fall—you might just be inspired to do the same:
Mal is all about the ultimate relaxation right now: a scalp treatment. With two new head spa spots in Bozeman—Eternal Dream Day Spa and Melt Head Spa—this trending treatment has officially landed close to home. It’s not only luxurious and calming, but also a lifesaver if your scalp or hair gets dry in the cooler months.
Lori is cozying up to a new hobby with a knitting class at Stix. After taking her first class last year and making a hat, she’s back at it and upping the ante—this time, she’s tackling a sweater. Cozy, creative, and a little meditative, it’s the perfect fall activity.
Emma treated herself to a night out at one of Bozeman’s most stunning new restaurants: Tutti Bene. Between the incredible food, creative drinks, and gorgeous décor, she gave the whole experience a glowing 10/10. Needless to say, the rest of us are already planning our reservations.

Stay Cozy & Stay Tuned
We hope this fall edition of the Heyday R.E.P.O.R.T. sparked some seasonal inspiration. As we ease into cooler days and slower moments, there’s nothing better than a good book, a warm treat, and a few cozy new finds.
We’ll be back soon with more recommendations, obsessions, and indulgences as the season continues to unfold. Until then—happy fall, from our Heyday family to yours!
